A crazy thought and a crazy invention: Microsoft announced 'HOLOLENS'.

The era of holographic computing is here. Microsoft announced on Wednesday that it is developing "MicrosoftHoloLens" which creates digital holograms with a smart handset. With the help of holograms, the virtual world will be as real as the phisical world. No screen or a mouse required to operate. Everythisg is physical-just like a sci-fi movie.

For the first time ever, Microsoft Hololens brings high definition holograms to life in our world, where they integrate with physical places, spaces and things."I know this sounds crazy. Maybe even a little impossible," inventor of the device, Alex Kipman said  in Microsoft product announcement, which was livestreamed via the Web. (The HoloLens listing and demos come in around 1:37 in the video.)

The headset is wireless and does not have to be paired with a phone. According to Wired, who got a practice with the device, the cheat screen to see through your brain to "see the light as matter", so it feels intuitive to manipulate objects on the screen as if they were in the real world.

The device still has some bugs to iron out, Wired said Jessi Hempel, who had some problems with voice controls during a demonstration. But three of the demos Hempel tried ran smoothly.

"This is not the kind of thing it is, say, a bestseller holidays," Hempel wrote. "It's a new interface, controlled by voice and gesture, and controls have to work without problems before they become commercially viable."

In a video demonstration, Microsoft ran several possible applications for the device, including the ability to model 3D objects, play games and videoconferencing. The video also showed a woman learn to fix your sink while a man instructed him on the other end of a video chat using your tablet for circular pieces of pipes that needed to be converted.

Kipman said the device will be available during the life of Windows 10, but did not specify exactly when consumers could buy one.
